RAMBAN, Jan 30: Police arrested a drug peddler along with cannabis.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Ramban led by SI Manohar Sharma laid a naka at Kela Morh and intercepted a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK02CC-6478.
During checking, police team recovered 310 grams cannabis from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Tariq Aziz, son of Ayoob Khan of Baghani District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 14/2021 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Ramban and investigation started.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SHO Ramban Inspector Pardeep Sharma, DySP Headquarters Ramban Rajinder Chib, Additional SP Ramban Rajni Sharma and SSP Ramban Haseeb-ur-Rehman.
