KISHTWAR, Dec 29: Chatroo Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Police Station Chatroo led by Inspector Parvaiz Khanday under the supervision of DySP DAR Kishtwar Zia-Ul-Haq established a naka at TRC Chatroo and apprehended a notorious drug peddler along with 90 grams of cannabis.
The accused has been identified as Mohammad Imran, son of Mohammad Qasim of Karna Chatroo District Kishtwar
A case FIR Number 77/2021 under relevant sections of NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Chatroo and investigation set into motion.
