RAMBAN, Jan 15: A drug peddler has been arrested along with 200 grams of cannabis.
As per police sources, a team from Ramban Police Station during patrolling near Kow Bag area apprehended a drug peddler and recovered 200 grams of cannabis from his possession.
The arrested person has been identified as Hari Ram, son of Jagat Ram, a resident of Bhatyari, District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 15/19 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Ramban and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Ramban Inspector Vijay Kotwal made the arrest under supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Asgar Malik, Additional SP Ramban Sanjay Parihar and SSP Ramban Anita Sharma.
