RAMBAN, Jan 19: Khari Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Post Khari laid a naka and apprehended a drug peddler along with 40 grams of cannabis.
The arrested person was identified as Ghulam Hassan Malik, son of Akbar Malik of Trana, Tehsil Khari, District Ramban.
A case FIR Number 06/2022 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Banihal and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Police Post Khari PSI Sweet Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Banihal Naeem Ul Haq, SDPO Banihal Nisar Ahmed Khoja and SP Ramban Mohita Sharma.
