JAMMU, July 6: Greater Kailash Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered ganja from his possession.
As per police sources, during patrolling a team from Police Post Greater Kailash led by PSI Harish Chander under the supervision of SHO Gangyal Inspector Joginder Singh intercepted a man, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered around 1.700 kilograms of ganja from the possession of the man and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Niranjan Kumar, son of Ashok of Bihar, at present Bari Brahmana District Samba.
A case FIR Number 75/2022 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation started.
