JAMMU, July 17: Bishnah Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 3 kilograms of ganja from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Pawan Dogra under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta laid a naka at Deoli road and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 3 kilograms of ganja from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The accused was identified as Govinda, son of Balak Ram of Village Doorman District Jangir Champa Chattisgarh, at present Bishnah District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 123/2022 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
