JAMMU, Feb 1: Nowabad Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered ganja and banned psychotropic injections.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Nowabad led by SHO Inspector Rajesh Khajuria laid a naka near Jewel and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 100 grams ganja and 145 banned psychotropic injections and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Manish Kumar Sharma, son of Kamal Kishore of Makhyal Marh.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Nowabad and investigation started.
The arrest and recoveries were made under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Swati Sharma.
