JAMMU, Oct 16: Gujjar Nagar police arrested a drug peddler along with heroin.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Gujjar Nagar Police Post led by SI Parvez Ahmad Khanday laid a naka and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 3 grams heroin from the possession of the man and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Mir Alam alias Billu, son of Shah Mohammad, a resident of Nowabad Bhatindi, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 60/2020 under relevant sections has been registered at Peer Mitha Police Station and investigation started.
