JAMMU, Oct 31: Nowabad police arrested a drug peddler and recovered around 2 grams of heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Nowabad Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered around 2 grams heroin from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Farman Ali, son of Haji Abdul Gani, a resident of District Udhampur, at present Niki Tawi.
A case under FIR Number 134/2020 under relevant sections has been registered at Nowabad Police Station and investigation started.
