JAMMU, Feb 15: Janipur police arrested a drug peddler along with 32 grams of heroin.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Police Station Janipur led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali during patrolling in Ramzanpura area apprehended a drug peddler and recovered 32 grams heroin from his possession.
The arrested person has been identified as Mohammad Ashraf Wani, son of Mohammad Yousaf, a resident of district Kulgam.
A case under FIR Number 17/2021 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Janipur and investigation started.
