JAMMU, Mar 1: Nowabad Police arrested a drug peddler along with 5 grams heroin.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Nowabad led by SHO Inspector Deepak Jasrotia laid a naka and intercepted a man, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 5 grams heroin from the possession of the man and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Kannav Gupta alias Kannu, son of Dharamvir Gupta, a resident of New Plot, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 41/2021 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Nowabad and investigation started.
