KATHUA, Sept 4: Industrial Estate Police apprehended a drug peddler along with 20 grams of heroin.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Police Post Industrial Estate laid a naka at Kharote Morh and apprehended a drug peddler along with 20 grams of heroin.
The arrested person was identified as Siddiq, son of Ali Hussain, a resident of Chack Jangi Tehsil Hiranagar District Kathua.
A case FIR Number 399/2021 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Kathua and investigation initiated.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SSP Kathua RC Kotwal.
