JAMMU, Feb 10: Gandhi Nagar Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, during checking at Valmiki Chowk, a team from Police Station Gandhi Nagar led by SHO Pankaj Sharma intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 30 grams heroin from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Hassan, son of Sham Lal of Valmiki Colony Gandhi Nagar, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 32/2022 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation started.
