JAMMU, May 7: Digiana Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Post Digiana laid a naka and intercepted a scooty bearing registration number JK02BE-8527.
During checking, police team recovered 2 to 3 grams heroin from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Rajiv Bakshi, son of late Om Parkash Bakshi of Rani Talab Digiana District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 106/2022 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation started.
