JAMMU, June 22: Satwari Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 9 grams heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Satwari led by SHO Inspector Sameer Jiilani under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma and SP South Mamta Sharma laid a naka near MH 166 road and intercepted a drug peddler along with 9 grams of heroin.
The arrested person was identified as Mohd Ashraf, son of Mir Qasim of Mandal District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 111/2022 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered against the arrested person at Police Station Satwari and investigation started.
