JAMMU, Nov 6: Miran Sahib Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 100 grams heroin from his possession.
As per official sources, a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta laid a naka at Gazian and intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 100 grams heroin and one weighing machine from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Mohd Mustaq alias Channi, son of Mohd Butta of Kothi Sheikh Miran Sahib.
A case FIR Number 147/2022 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
