JAMMU, Nov 19: Gadigarh Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered heroin from his possession.
As per official sources, a team from Police Post Gadigarh led by SI Ravinder Singh under the supervision of SHO Satwari Inspector Sameer Jiilani and SDPO South Sachit Sharma laid a naka at Bhour Camp and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 41 grams of heroin from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Surinder Singh alias Shantu, son of late Ranjit Singh of Bhour Camp Gadigarh.
A case FIR Number 214/2022 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Satwari and investigation started.
