JAMMU, Nov 30: Gangyal police arrested a drug peddler along with 1600 intoxicant capsules.
As per police sources, during patrolling, a team from Gangyal Police Station led by SHO Inspector Sunil Jasrotia under the supervision of SP South Vinay Sharma intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 1600 intoxicant capsules from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Malkeet Singh, son of Tarsem Lal, a resident of Ward Number 57 Marakhari, Gangyal.
A case under FIR Number 137/19 under section 8/21/22 NDPS ACT has been registered at Gangyal Police Station and investigation started.
