JAMMU, Apr 2: Bakshi Nagar Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered large quantity of intoxicant capsules from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Bakshi Nagar led by SHO Inspector Manjeet Singh under the supervision of SDPO West Amit Sharma laid a naka and intercepted a motorcycle.
During checking, police team recovered 288 intoxicant capsules from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Pawan Kumar, son of Kasturi Lal of Khatikan Talab District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 58/2021 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
