KISHTWAR, Dec 23: Under Operation Sanjeevani, police arrested a drug peddler along with 38 strips of intoxicant tablets and 70 grams cannabis.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Kishtwar led by SHO Inspector Abid Bukhari under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Kishtwar Satish Kumar laid a naka at new Bus Stand here and apprehended a drug peddler along with 38 strips of intoxicant tablets and 70 grams cannabis.
The arrested person was identified as Aqib Hussain, son of Abdul Subhan, a resident of Bagwan Mohalla Kishtwar.
A case under FIR Number 276/2021 under relevant sections of NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started.
