POONCH, Dec 24: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the crime and drug menace from the society, one more hard-core criminal and drug-peddler was detained under Public Safety Act (PSA) in Poonch today.
He has been identified as Rashid Ahmed @ Missing, son of Abdul Hamid, resident of Jalian village, Tehsil Mandi. He has been booked and detained under PSA by District Police Poonch.
Several number of FIRs including NDPS cases were registered against him in Police Station Poonch. His activities were detrimental for the peace and tranquility of the area. Tacting tough against him, he has been lodged in District Jail Poonch under Public Safety Act.
