UDHAMPUR, Dec 27: Police arrested a drug peddler in Ramnagar area and recovered contraband (heroine like substance) from his possession, here today.
Reports said that Police team from Police Station Ramnagar, led by SHO S D Singh apprehended the accused near SDPO Office Ramnagar after he tried to hide himself from the police party.
Police arrested the accused, identified as Ravi Kumar of Ward number 9, Ramnagar and recovered 3.38 grams of heroin like substance from his possession. A case FIR No. 130/2024 under relevant sections of law has been registered in this connection at PS Ramnagar.
