UDHAMPUR, Jan 5: Police today arrested a drug peddler from Panchari area and seized contraband substance from his possession.
Reports said Police team from Police Station Panchari, while performing patrolling duty at Kunti link road near Kainthgali, Panchari, apprehended one person namely Sushil Kumar son of Vishwa Nath of Lower Meer, Panchari.
Upon conducting thorough frisking, 102 grams of Marijuana and 98 grams of cannabis like substance were recovered from his possession.
On this, a case FIR No. 02/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered in this connection at PS Panchari. Further investigation of the case is underway to ascertain source of narcotics.
