UDHAMPUR, Feb 11: A drug peddler was apprehended from Roundomail area and contraband heroin like substance was recovered from his possession, here today.
Police team from PP Roun apprehended the accused, namely Ajay Singh, son of Balbir Singh of Shiv Nagar, Udhampur who was coming from Roundomail side towards Darsoo by foot.
On frisking of the apprehended person, 4.25 grams of heroin like substance was recovered from his possession after which the accused was arrested on the spot.
A case FIR under relevant sections of law has been registered in this connection at PS Udhampur.
