UDHAMPUR, Mar 8: Police here today arrested a drug peddler and recovered heroin like substance from him.
As per sources, a team of cops from Police Station Rehambal during a Naka checking operation at Phlata intercepted a suspicious individual Viru Yadav, son of Panchdev Yadav, resident of Supply Morh, Udhampur.
During his physical search, Police recovered 3 gm heroin-like contraband and he was arrested on the spot.
In this connection, a case in FIR number 38/2025 was registered at Police Station Rehambal under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act and investigation started.
