UDHAMPUR, June 22: Udhampur police arrested a drug peddler at Roundomail and recovered cannabis like substance from his possession.
The accused, identified as Sanjay Kumar, son of Krishan Lal, resident of Flata, Rehambal, was apprehended by a Police party during patrolling at Roundomail. On his frisking, Police recovered approximately two hundred grams cannabis like psychotropic substance from possession of the accused.
The peddler was arrested and a case FIR number 266/2022, under section 8/20 NDPS Act was registered in this connection at PS Udhampur.
The arrest and recovery were made by the special efforts of PSI Akhilesh Khajuria, IC PP Roundomail under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Udhampur, Sahil Mahajan.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SSP Udhampur Dr Vinod Kumar.
