KATRA, Aug 18: Police today arrested a drug peddler from the holy town and seized 400 gms of charas from his possession.
The accused, identified as Mohinder Kumar of Bundoda, Doda, was presently putting up in Katra and had been working at a Dhaba in the town. He was apprehended by a Police team, led by SHO Katra, Inspector Kuldeep Krishan, under the supervision of SDPO Katra Dr Ashok Sharma and Addl SP Katra Sameer Kotwal.
Ten pieces (Chhaliyan) of charas weighing 400 gms were recovered from possession of the accused, against whom a case under NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Katra.
