JAMMU, Aug 27: A drug peddler was arrested with 1 kilogram of Ganja-like-substance from Kabir Colony area here falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Nowabad, police said.
Ajay Singh of Puran Nagar, Talab Tillo, Jammu, was found in possession of the drugs by a team of Police Post Talab Tillo led by ASI Chaggar Singh at a naka established near Kabir Colony area, they said.
According to police, the accused has been booked in case FIR number 130/2024 under sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Nowabad and further investigation taken up.
Pertinently, the arrest was made by the police team under the supervision of incharge Police Post Talab Tillo, SHO Nowabad, DySP Headquarters, and SP City North, Jammu.
