JAMMU, Aug 25: Police claimed to have arrested a drug peddler from Ware House area here and recovered 19 grams of heroin-like-substance from his possession.
A police official said that Dushyant Kumar of Bari Brahamana, Samba was arrested on August 24 with the consignment by a team of Police Post Nehru Market.
He said that accused has been booked in case FIR number 170/2024 Under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and further investigation taken up.
