UDHAMPUR, Dec 14: An interstate drug peddler along with 30 kg Poppy straw was arrested today by Udhampur Police.
“The contraband was recovered by a team of Police Post Roun Domail led by PSI Akhilesh Khajuria (Incharge Police Post Roun Domail) during vehicle checking at Roun Domail, from a truck bearing registration number PB32B-3013,” Police sources said.
They said a case in this connection was registered at Police Station Udhampur while driver of the truck namely Jaswant Singh son of Amrik Singh, resident of House number 204, Lane number 3, Baldev Nagar, Jallandhar, Punjab, was arrested.
