RAJOURI, Apr 30: The police seized 50 bottles of Corex and nearly 500 capsules of toxic nature from a youth from Kallar area late Rajouri this evening.
A police party led by SHO, Yashpal Jamwal, under the supervision of SP Rajouri, Mubassar Latiffi, intercepted two youth at the naka point near Kallar. While one of them escaped, the other who also tried to flee after throwing away a small bag, was chased and caught. The police during search of the bag, recovered 500 capsules of toxic nature and 50 bottles of Corex.
The accused drug peddler was arrested and a case registered against him and his absconding associate. The arrested drug peddler was identified as Arshed, a resident of Dlogara near Rajouri. The police has started manhunt for absconding associate.
