JAMMU, May 12: A drug peddler was arrested with 600 grams of opium-like-substance by police in Narwal area here today.
A police official said that Khursheed Ahmed from Badhat, Drabshalla, Kishtwar, was apprehended by a team of Police Station Bahu Fort assisted by incharge Police Post Narwal with the consignment.
He said the accused has been booked in case FIR Number 113/2024 Under Sections 8/17/18/25 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and further investigation taken up.
