JAMMU, Mar 26: A drug peddler was arrested along with 8 grams of heroin here today, police said.
They said that Junaid Qayoom Wani of Mohalla Anwarabad, Tehsil and District Doda, was arrested by a team of Police Post Narwal led by SDPO East Shayed Zaheer Abbas Jafari assisted by SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Shiv Dev Singh and incharge Police Post Narwal SI Lalit Sharma, during patrolling duty at Rajiv Nagar Mohalla, Narwal, Jammu.
“The accused has been booked in case FIR number 100/2023 under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and further investigation taken up,” police said.
