JAMMU, Sept 12: A drug peddler was arrested with 800 grams of Ganja from Patoli Park area here today.
A police spokesperson said that a team of Police Station Janipur led by SDPO West, Vikram Singh assisted by SHO Janipur, Inspector Sikander Singh, while on patrolling duty near Patoli Park, Janipur area, rounded up a suspected person.
During search of the suspect identified as Sudama Nirala of Chhattisgarh at present near Amba Theatre, Jammu, 800 grams of Ganja was recovered, he said.
He was accordingly booked in case FIR number 90/2023 under sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Janipur and further investigation taken up, added the police spokesperson.
