JAMMU, June 4: A drug peddler was arrested with 666 grams of Ganja from Janipur area here today, police said.
They said a police team led by SDPO West Vikram Singh assisted by SHO Janipur Inspector Sikandar Singh, while on patrolling duty near Upper Roop Nagar, rounded up a suspected person identified as Ravindra Kumar Jangde of Chhattisgarh at present Upper Roop Nagar, Jammu.
During his search, police said, 666 grams of Ganja was recovered. Police have booked the accused in case FIR number 58/2023 under sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Janipur and started further investigation.
