JAMMU, Feb 12: Police today claimed that they have arrested a drug peddler and recovered from his possession 6 grams of heroin and two syringes.
They said Varun Jandyal of Rehari Colony was arrested by a team of Police Station Bus Stand during a naka placed at Bus Stand area itself.
“The bike (JK02AG-6521) of the accused has also been seized,” said police.
The accused has been booked in case FIR number 11/2023 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bus Stand and further investigations taken up, police further said.
