JAMMU, Apr 12: A drug peddler was arrested with 3.33 grams of heroin from Bishnah area here today, police said.
They said Mohammad Iqbal alias Lambad of Kotli Mian Fateh, Tehsil RS Pura, was arrested along with the consignment during surprise naka checking at Deoli near OLA Kids School, Bishnah.
The accused has been booked in case FIR number 83/2023 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bishnah and further investigation taken up, police said.
The recovery was made by a team of Police Station Bishnah led by SHO concerned, Inspector Vikram Sharma, under the overall supervision of SSP Jammu, Chandan Kohli.
