JAMMU, Nov 26: A drug peddler was arrested with 25 grams of heroin from Domana area here today.
A police spokesperson said that a team of Police Station Domana led by SDPO Domana Vishal Shoor, assisted by SHO Domana Inspector Neeraj Choudhary, and PSI Danish Qaiser Gazali, while on patrolling duty at Machine Domana, rounded up a suspect near Gurudwara.
On search of the suspect, identified as Gurparsad Singh of Upper Gadigarh, Jammu, he said, 25 grams of heroin was recovered.
The accused has been accordingly booked in case FIR number 348/2023 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Domana and further investigation taken up.
