JAMMU, Mar 24: A drug peddler was arrested with heroin-like substance by police in RS Pura area here today.
A police spokesperson said that during routine patrolling duty at Talli Morh near Convent School RS Pura, a party of Police Station RS Pura arrested one Nikhil Chib alias Gho of Satraiyan, Suchetgarh, RS Pura, with 1.80 grams of heroin-like-substance.
The accused, according to him, has been booked in case FIR number 54/2024 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station RS Pura and further investigation taken up.
