JAMMU, Dec 29: Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) in Kanachak area claimed they have arrested a drug peddler with 2.59 grams of heroin-like-substance.
Rahul Sharma of Gharota, tehsil Bhalwal, district Jammu, was arrested with the consignment from Bawa Talab area on December 28 during routine patrolling by a team of Police Station Kanachak, said a police official.
He said the accused has been booked in case FIR number 205/2024 under sections 18/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Kanachak and further investigation started.
