JAMMU, Jan 7: A drug peddler was arrested with 3.08 grams of heroin-like-substance in RS Pura area today.
During routine patrolling duty, one Naresh Kumar alias Kutti of Chakrohi, near Bus Stand, Tehsil Suchetgarh, District Jammu, was put to search, leading to the recovery of the illicit substance, a police official said.
Accordingly, the accused was arrested and booked in case FIR number 02/2025 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station RS Pura and further investigation started, he said.
