JAMMU, June 5: Residency Road police post arrested a drug peddler alongwith large quantity of intoxicants.
As per police spokesman, patrolling team from Residency Road police post intercepted a pedestrian on suspicious grounds at Vivekananda Chowk.
During checking, police recovered 34 intoxicant tablets, 215 capsules and 10 bottles corex from his possession and nabbed him on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Pawan Kumar, son of Kasturi Lal of Ghass Mandi.
A case under FIR Number 36/15 under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at City police station and investigation started.
