JAMMU, Feb 18: Nowabad police claimed today that they have arrested a drug peddler and recovered 18 kilograms of poppy husk from his possession.
According to police, the accused was staying with the consignment in a hotel here. He has been identified as Gurvinder Singh son of Kuldeep Singh of Jalandhar.
The accused has been booked under relevant sections of the law and further investigations taken up, police said.
