Drug peddler held with psychotropic substance

SRINAGAR, June 20: Police today said to have arrested a drug peddler and recovered psychotropic substance from his possession in Baramulla.
As per a police spokesperson, the officers from Police Station Baramulla under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Baramulla at a checkpoint established at Ushkara Crossing intercepted one person identified as Firdous Ahmad Parray son of Late Ali Mohammad Parray, resident of Parray Mohalla, Sangri Colony.
During checking, officers were able to recover 200 Tramadol Injections from his possession. He has been arrested and shifted to the Police station.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Baramulla and an investigation has been initiated.
