KATHUA/ UDHAMPUR, Aug 29: The police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 100 capsules of Parvan Spas from his possession.
Identified as Makhan Lal alias Makhnu, son of Maggar Ram of Ward No. 12 Kathua, he was nabbed by police naka party at Jarai Chowk today. After his physical check, 100 capsules of toxic nature were recovered from his possession. The police has registered a case against him.
Meanwhile, the police seized 2 kg Buki and arrested a tanker driver at Chenani today. A police party led by DySP Gian Chand Sharma acting on a tip off intercepted oil tanker No. JK02R/7489 and recovered 2 kg `bukki’ from it. The driver Jaggar Ram, son of Sain Dass of Gole Gujral, Jammu was arrested.
