POONCH, May 5: Continuing its drive against drug menace, Poonch police, on the directions of SSP Rajeev Pandey organised a trap and arrested two persons and recovered 6800 capsules of toxic nature from their possession today.
Police sources said that police party from SOG Poonch headed by Mohammad Saleem Bhat, DySP and SI Sameer during checking apprehended two persons namely, Chander Prakash alias Shanty, son of Lt Sita Ram, Mohalla Police Lines Poonch and Mohammed Farooq, son of Mohamad Sadiq from Nabna Madana, Surankote and recovered around 6800 capsules of Clavidol-50 (Tramadol) from the Medical shop of Chander Prakash.
In this regard a case FIR No 57/17 was registered at Police Station, Poonch and further investigation was started.
