Drug peddler nabbed with heroin

KATHUA, June 17: Hiranagar police arrested a drug peddler and recovered heroin from his possession.
As per police spokesman, on specific information, a team from Hiranagar Police Station led by SHO Inspector Arvind Sambyal laid a naka at Rakh Sarkar Pali and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 4.35 grams heroin, one small electronic weighing machine, one syringe and one spoon and arrested the person, who has been identified as Roshan Din, son of Liaqat Ali, a resident of Rakh Sarkar Palai, Tehsil Hiranagar, district Kathua.
A case under FIR Number 94/18 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Hiranagar Police Station and investigation started.
