JAMMU, Nov 26: Director School Education, Jammu has constituted a grievances cell comprising of senior officers of the Education Department to look into the grievances and problems of the employees.
He said that as per the directions of the Deputy Chief Minister a strict time frame has been given to the officers of the Education Department to clear all the pending issues of the employees which were lingering on for the last many years.
Regularization of EVs into ReTs and ReTs to general line teachers, promotion of near about 160 masters to headmasters, promotions of 600 class IV employees in next higher grade are some of the important achievements made during the short spell of eight months, he added. Director warned that few employees with vested interests are spreading false/baseless rumors which have got no basis to tarnish the image of the department. The persons involved in this malpractice have been identified and action as warranted under rules will be taken against them shortly.
