JAMMU, Feb 12: Director School Education Jammu, Simrandeep Singh today reviewed the functioning of the department in Jammu district in a meeting held in the Directorate.
The meeting was attended by Chief Education Officer Jammu, J K Sudan, Principal DIET Jammu Mohinder Singh, ZEOs and ZEPOs of all zones of Jammu district.
The Director reviewed the status of attachments/deployments of various teachers and masters in the district and passed instructions to all the ZEOs to relieve attached staff. He took a review of the pending constructions in SSA and RMSA and asked the CEO to explain reasons for each pending building, classroom and toilet.
Mr Singh sought information on all centres in the district, which have computers but no teachers and asked all ZEOs to ensure that they take responsibility of each construction going on in the department and not merely leave it upon the PWD.
The Principal DIET also gave a detailed update of his functioning.
