DSEJ reviews performance under CSSs

JAMMU, Mar 2: Director School Education, Anuradha Gupta today reviewed the performance under centrally sponsored schemes at a meeting attended by Chief Education Officers and District Nodal Officers through video conference.
The performance under various Central Sponsored Schemes like Fit India Movement, Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat, besides the preparation of department for celebration of Constitution Day and 150th Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was discussed with CEOs and District Nodal Officers.
The Director emphasized on the online completion of registration process of Fit India and other Central Sponsored Schemes.
She highlighted the importance of Fit India Movement campaign and asked for spreading awareness among the masses about the same. She directed to encourage the teachers, staff, parents, people and school management to adopt healthy lifestyles, give new dimension for “Healthy Children Healthy India” promote culture and sports along with education for overall well being of school children.
She also focused on organization of different activities under Fit India Movement so that schools in Jammu Division may get 3-star and 5-star ratings at national level. She also directed the CEOs/DNOs to organize to major programmes under Fit India Movement i.e “FIT INDIA FEST” in the month of April and Women International Day on March 8 at District and Divisional level.
Emphasizing on the in-time submission of UDISE forms on the portal of Samagra, she said that it should be done as per calendar. She talked high about the commemoration of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at divisional level.
